Pale walls, a canopied bed and morning light from the orchard side of the house.
The Orangery Room sits above the old glasshouse on the sunny side of the house, and it is the lightest room we have. Pale walls, a white canopied bed, floral linen and a writing desk under the window make it the room guests pick when they want to wake slowly. From the bed you look across the orchard and the croquet lawn to the hills beyond Westington. The bathroom has a roll-top bath, a walk-in shower and heated towel rails, and there is a Roberts radio on the dresser for the morning news.
